I started the photography diploma program in 2003. Every optional assignment involved me baking a bake or pasta dish, trekking it to the school (on the bus no less) styling and shooting it. I had a few amazing opportunities including being on set at a large commercial studio in Toronto, shooting Swiss Chalet’s new menu. All I can say was that was an experience (involving 13 chickens)
With over 100 hours formal education in school and with food prep/photography specific seminars spanning the past 12 years, I’ve been styling and shooting for a stock agency and several global and local based food retailers.
